External crisis have always impacted companies in several ways, yet little research has been performed on the crisis’ impacts on management control. Most of the studies so far have been focused on the impacts of the 2008 financial crisis. The aim of this study is to analyse what are the impact of the Covid-19 crisis on management control. To do this, a qualitative study has been performed by analysing the Schneider Electric case. A series of in-depth interviews have been conducted with key employee of the Company in order to better understand what the changes have been implemented.
